Result : Competition winner was Ms S Willcock of E Sussex, who was very close to the actual result of a 7.965 metre line from a single Tonik compatible cartridge costing less than £4 ! Ms Willcock wins a year's free ink. .
Carousel has been involved with Macmillan Cancer Support for some time. This year in association with the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event (Friday September 24th 2010) everyone has the chance to win a year’s worth of free Tonik ink or toner for their printer, whilst helping Macmillan at the same time.
We took a standard Tonik black ink cartridge (costing £4.04) for a common desktop printer* and tested how long a line could be printed from it. All you have to do is tell us the exact length in kilometres you think the line stretched. (clue: it was almost 8 Km long - which is around 5 miles) . There is no charge for entry. You do not have to buy anything, but you do need to tell us what you printer(s) you have. Tonik will donate 10p to Macmillan for every entrant.
Just email your guess ( eg 7.789 Km ) , your name and your printer model ( eg HP Photosmart 2570) to sales@tonik.co.uk or you can ring us on Freephone 0800 096 6543
If you want to help Macmillan even more and you live near us, do come on 24th September, enjoy a free cup of coffee and take part in our fun day. Return your empty cartridges too when you come, as Tonik also collects those for Macmillan.
